Hallo allemaal! Op 31 mei gaan wij, als ploeg ‘Lord of the Ringvaart’, de uitdaging aan om de Ringvaart te roeien. Met deze wedstrijd van 100 km willen wij geld inzamelen voor ‘Trees for All’. Deze Nederlandse organisatie zet zich voor het behoud van bossen en oerwouden in Nederland en buitenland en het ontwikkelen van voedselbossen. Het uiteindelijke doel van deze acties is een beter klimaat, meer biodiversiteit en gezonde leefomstandigheden. Twee voorbeelden: In Groningen is ‘Trees for All’ bezig een sparbos dat niet goed bestand is tegen droge zomers om te vormen tot een gevarieerd bos, met als doel een hogere biodiversiteit en betere weerbaarheid tegen klimaatverandering. Verder van huis is ‘Trees for All’ actief in Borneo, waar ze de lokale bevolking helpen een boomkwekerij op te zetten en waar mensen leren om bomen te kweken, te planten en te beschermen om hiermee het leefgebied van de Orang-Oetan uit te breiden. Door onze roeiwedstrijd te sponsoren draag je bij aan deze mooie projecten en een groenere toekomst.

Trees for All has been devoted to create more forests in the world since 1999. We plant new forest and restore existing forest in the Netherlands and abroad. In addition, we make people aware of the importance of trees. Our sustainable forest projects contribute to a better climate, more biodiversity and healthy living conditions for people and animals. In this way we invest together in a green and healthy earth for everyone! We are a Public Benefit Organisation (ANBI) with a CBF certificate.
