In mijn eigen leefomgeving en door mijn werkzaamheden bij het Deltaprogramma zie ik het klimaat veranderen en de gevolgen daarvan door toenemende droogte, hitte, overstromingen. We kunnen ons daaraan aanpassen. Maar nog belangrijker is het de oorzaak aan te pakken, de CO2 gehaltes te verlagen. Bomen slaan CO2 op en dragen daardoor bij aan het verminderen van de opwarming en klimaatverandering. Door de aanschaf en aanplant van bomen draag je bij een leefbare wereld voor onze (klein)kinderen. Een donatie aan 'Trees for All' is voor mij dan ook een heel mooi cadeau.
